About the project
“Initiating New Standards in Journalism: Supporting (formerly) Incarcerated Groups with Honour and Tact (INSIGHT)” is an innovative and responsible journalism project to facilitate the integration of incarcerated people into society. It highlights the importance of media portrayal and community awareness in breaking down societal stereotypes and beliefs. Through direct engagement and educational initiatives, the project aims to facilitate the reintegration of (ex-)convicts back into community life, ultimately increasing community safety and empowerment.
Project “INSIGHT” is funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the National Agency. Neither the European Union nor National Agency can be held responsible for them.
